The president of GAIYD Amb. (Dr.) Hiilary Akpua was presented with an award during the Al Masaareef foundation conference 2024 with the theme -‘United For a Drug- Free Life’.
During the award, Decoration Dr. Hillary Akpua congratulated the organizers of on organizing the event to educate students on living a drug free life and appreciated the organization for honouring him with such a prestigious award.
To celebrate the occasion and further support the Al Masaareef foundation, Dr hillary awarded an attentive student from the audience a full scholarship, from his secondary school to his university level. Kazeem Emmanuel is a Jss3 student of JSS Gariki Area 10, who paid keen attention to all the lectures and asked important questions about ways of living a drug free life in an unfavorable environment. He also encouraged the students to always be attentive and know when to ask the right questions.
