school sensitization visit to Government Day Secondary School Madala.

Great Achievers Initiative for Youth and Community Development continued its school sensitization program with a visit to Government Day Secondary School Madala.

During the session, the President of the organization, Dr. Hillary Akpua, spoke to the boys about self-acceptance. He encouraged them to be proud of who they are and to believe in themselves. He also talked about the dangers of drug abuse and why young boys should stay away from drugs to protect their future.

Dr. Hillary Akpua also emphasized the importance of mentorship, explaining that having the right guidance can help shape a boy into a responsible and successful man. He advised the students to stay on the right path while working hard to achieve success so that they can one day be proud of their achievements.

Members of the organization also addressed the students. The Protocol and Administrative team spoke to the boys about important life skills that can guide them as they grow. The students also participated in a short exercise that made the session lively and interactive.

The sensitization program was fun, engaging, and impactful, with the students actively participating throughout the visit.

Dr. Hillary Akpua ended the session with a simple message for the boys to remember:

“If you jump up, you will fall down. But if you climb up, you will stay up.”
