The Great Achievers Initiative Youth and Community Development (GAIYD) team on the 27th of July 2024 organized a ” sensitization exercise ” themed ” the boy child needs to be heard” on the streets of Abuja (jabi lake side). The sensitization was organised to make the public aware of how the formal and non formal training of the boy child is neglected and not paid attention to.
We reached a wide range of audience including parents, youths and the boy child. The NGO also offered free medical check for audience and participants. Some of the boys were selected and won prices after a dance exercise.
The event was a great step towards creating a better society through boy child formal and non formal education.
