
On Wednesday, 18th February 2025, Great Achievers Initiative for Youth and Community Development began its sensitization program at Government Secondary School Bakin Ado and Government Junior Secondary School Bakin Ado Karu,Nassarawa State
During the visit, the Vice President, Dr. Alarms, spoke to the boys about the importance of personal hygiene and how it helps them stay healthy and confident. The President, Dr. Hillary Akpua, encouraged the students and reminded them that the voice of the boy child matters and deserves to be heard.
Personnel from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency also spoke to the students about drug abuse and the negative impact it can have on their lives and future.
The students were very engaging, listened attentively, and participated actively throughout the session. Marker boards were also donated to support learning in the schools.
Overall, the visit was a success, and the organization remains committed to guiding and empowering the boy child for a better future.
