
On May 16, 2025, Great Achievers Initiative for Youth and Community Development (GAIYD) marked the International Day of the Boy Child In Which the “one boy one skill” program was unveiled by the chief unveiler Her Regal Majesty Olori Temitope Enitan Ogunwusi Olori Ojaja II(Royal Mother of the Day) alongside Alhaji Aminu Yakubu, Mainasara kogo umar, Eng Dr. Hyeladi Haruna.
Her Regal Majesty Olori Temitope Enitan Ogunwusi Olori Ojaja II(Royal Mother of the Day) addressed the gathering with a challenge: “Who is going to be the voice for our boys?” Speaking as a mother and matron, Olori Temitope called for intentional parenting and mentoring, reminding the guardians and parents that raising boys is not a task for schools alone. “You have God’s kind of mind,” she told the boys in attendance. “Everything that determines your future is right here in your head
This program is a 6 month skill acquisition program which is to empower young boys with a practical skill to enhance their future prospect and provide them with opportunity for self sufficiency, These Training includes the following skills
- ICT(Computer appreciation, Graphics design, and Web Design)
- Catering and culinary arts
- Fashion Designing
- Agriculture
- Photography
Our Major Goal for this program is to provide the children with a well rounded skill set that will make them employable and entrepreneurial in the future. which was filled with dignitaries and guests such as Olori Temitope Ogunwusi, mainasara kogo umar, alahaji aminu yakubu , chief dr Patrick adilo. Who were present at the unveiling of the one boy one skill program , set to launch in June 2025. This program is designed to equip boys with life-enhancing skills that will prepare them for a more productive and empowered future.
