International day of the boychild

For almost a month, eight schools competed, hundreds of students participated, and countless memories were created.

From the opening matches in Nyanya Gbagyi to a dramatic final at Moshood Abiola National Stadium, the GAIYD Sports Competition 2026 showcased the very best of youth sports—discipline, teamwork, resilience, and determination.

The final was decided by a penalty shootout after two unbeaten teams, Winning Ways Academy and GSS Bakin Ado, battled fiercely for the trophy. In the end, Winning Ways Academy emerged champions, but every participating school left its mark on the competition.
